Personal Passion Day
Personal Passion Day
December 9
Thursday
Hanukkah ends
Color of the day: Crimson
Incense of the day: Apricot
For a spell to energize our personal passions, bring together a red candle for passion and energy, and a white candle for sincerity and purity, peppermint essential oil for mental clarity, a sage and lavender smudge stick, and the symbols of your personal passion. Dress your candles with the peppermint oil, asking for clarity and purpose.
At your altar, call in the directions and deities. Smudge yourself and the candles with the smudge stick. Holding the symbols of your personal power, smudge yourself again and feel the wisdom, purity, and centeredness of the herbs filling your being and creating clear pathways for your personal passion’s full expression. In your pure, passionate state, light the white candle and ask for blessings. With another breath, light the red candle to energize. Meditate there until you feel the fullness of your passion. Extinguish the candles and thank the deities. Whenever you need inspiration, burn the candles.
